Rebel Heart Tour (Miami, January 23rd and 24th, 2016)

My Rebel Heart Tour adventures ended last weekend with the two shows in Miami. Both were great and among my most enjoyable shows for this tour, but Sunday’s show was definitely the best. I was only 2 chairs away from the main catwalk toward the center of the cross. Got to see Madonna up close many times. She did the medley at both shows, thankfully, and we also got “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” at both, which was a surprise to me as I hadn’t been reading any rumors online. She also did “Spanish Lesson” at Sunday’s show which is not one of my favorite songs at all, so that wasn’t too exciting for me. I really hope that song doesn’t make it onto the DVD/Blu-Ray if there is one! Madonna threw her guitar pick into my area at the end of “Burning Up” and no one caught it so several of us were on our hands and knees with our phone flashlights desperately looking for it. At the end of the show, one of the security people found it and gave it to someone else. Booo! I really wanted it. Oh well. I’m sad that the tour is now officially over for me but I am looking forward to a possible Blu-Ray release! This whole tour was really special for me, possibly my favorite overall tour experiences since Re-Invention, which was my first ever Madonna tour. Overall, I’m grateful that I was able to see 6 shows in different cities.

Site Construction Ahead

The pages on the site may look a bit uneven in the coming weeks/months because I’ve started re-photographing everything so that the pictures are a bit larger and clearer when you click on them. I will also be taking pictures of not only the fronts of the items, but also the backs of the cases/sleeves and the discs/records themselves (there may be some exceptions to this where I see fit. One thing I’ve decided so far is that I am not taking a picture of both sides of a record, just one since both the fronts and backs look pretty much the same). It’s going to take a lot of time and I’m not sure why I’m doing this to myself when I can just leave well enough alone, but I’ve already started tinkering with some new pictures and I love the way it looks (all of the Madonna debut album/singles and Like A Virgin album/singles pages are completed, for example).  Anyway, not sure how long it’s going to take but I think it will be worth the effort in the end.

Just like a dream to me…

Sometimes a collector just happens to be in the right place (ebay) at the right time! I was lucky enough to buy the Like A Prayer USA Promo CD quicker than a ray of light as soon as it was listed on ebay for the insanely low amount of $14.50! I couldn’t really believe what I was looking it and I had to act fast. After I bought it, I was just waiting to receive an email from the seller telling me that the Buy It Now cost was a mistake and that they would be cancelling my order…but nope! It has arrived and the disc is gorgeous. I’m in love!
