Yet another month of lots of new goodies coming in. I’ve actually been collecting at a steady stream since the beginning of the year. I think I’m going to cut back a bit this upcoming month, though. Collecting can definitely get addicting once I get into the groove (pun intended) of it. Of course, there are the vinyl new reissues coming up (The Immaculate Collection EU reissue, Like A Virgin USA white vinyl reissue and Who’s That Girl USA vinyl reissue), so those will be coming in since I have them pre-ordered.
Elsewhere, talk of Madonna’s upcoming album is getting louder and louder with fake release dates coming and going. I really hope we get several different editions for it. I was supremely impressed with the treasure trove of formats for Kylie Minogue’s recent album, Golden. My biggest fear is that Madonna will decide to go all digital at some point, which I could totally see her doing. I’ve accepted the idea that we most likely won’t get any more physical singles, but I need physical albums! Hopefully with how strong the demand for vinyl is these days, that won’t happen.
