As you can see, I’m still kind of taking it easy as far as collecting goes lately. The highlight of the month was definitely the white vinyl reissue of Like A Virgin. Sadly, it wasn’t 180 gram vinyl so the record itself is very thin. I’m glad they kept the original yellow commercial album labels on the records, though, which not only help differentiate these new versions from the 1984 white vinyl promos, but also keep the custom “lace design” labels special to those promos. It’s nice to have small differences like that.
As you all know, we’ve had a slew of reissues over the last couple of years. As of now, there is nothing new or upcoming on the horizon, except for Madonna’s next album which is apparently being released before the end of the year. Can’t wait to start collecting the next era.
