Elsewhere, the Record Store Day 2020 list for April was released today with no Madonna releases in sight. Weirdly, I’m OK with it. I don’t mind taking a break this time around. In fact, I’m not surprised because I was totally expecting this due to the lack of Madonna RSD rumors in the weeks leading up to today’s announcement. If we were going to get anything, I would have loved another exclusive 12″ single from Madame X in the vein of the “I Rise” 12″ we got for RSD Black Friday. Hopefully this is just a temporary break, though. I hope next time they come out with something really great.
