It’s been relatively quiet on the Madonna collecting front lately. I’ve kept myself busy buying things I’ve been missing these last few months, but we basically went the entire year without any new Madonna releases or reissues this year (If I’m not mistaken, the last official Madonna release was last November’s “I Rise” 12″). The closest we got to anything new was Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” featuring Madonna. I know the remix LP of her album was released but (even though Madonna was on the cover) I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on a record set of an artist that I don’t particularly care about. I got the white label 12″ of the song and that’s enough for me. The next thing we have to look forward to is the Madame X Tour release…where the hell is it?? I had hoped it would have been out by Christmas. Hopefully it’s out early next year.
